Now it’s certainly not easy posting fat photos of yourself up on the internet, but I guess I’ve got to give myself a sense of scale.
I went to Vegas in 2008 and had got down to the lowest weight I’d been in a while. If my memory serves me correctly, it wasnt even below 17 stone. The lowest I can remember seeing the scales has been 17st 1lb and that was in the November of 2008.
When people ask how much I weigh, they tend to not believe me. I’m not sure if they’re just being polite or not…
So my aim for this blog is to get to 16st 3lb, preferably before Christmas. So that would mean going beyond the weight loss that I achieved for Vegas 2008.
So there’s my scale.
So here is the scale of the ‘problem’ (I did this in iWorks so I’m treating this like a presentation!).
So this is where I start, and that’s where I need to be to get to 103kg, the aim of this blog.
Weigh in days will be on a Wednesday evening and I’ll do my best to get the results up as soon as possible. So I have a weigh in on Wednesday this week so I should be able to post at least some losses pretty quickly.

I’ve decided to postpone the weigh in until tomorrow morning. I have a Personal Training session tomorrow morning at 8am and we’ll be weighing in then. I’ll update everyone on my starting weight!
Rusty103(kgs)
I’ve had the username for most things of “rusty103” for a long long time. I think when I was a teenager, I was the 103rd person to try and get the name Rusty.
So it’s kinda stuck. And I’ve been looking for something to aim for in regards to my fitness. And then I thought why not use Rusty103 as just that!
So. I’m going to get to my first target weight of 103kg. That’s still a lot I guess but it’s still a lot lighter than I am at the minute.
I’ll post my current weight tomorrow morning and the task ahead of me.
And we’ll go from there.
This is an old friend of mine who seems to have become some kind of fitness freak and participates in all sorts of weird and wonderful challenges. Including this one. Have a look.
So here goes…
I have a good friend who recently moved to Holland to work, despite all the best advice from his close friends and family.
He now spends his times smoking pot and pestering me about how much I go to the gym.
Now the story there is long and varied. His intentions are not benign, he does intend to prod and poke me into action. We’ll no doubt cover my history and past stories in the future and I obviously aim to create tension and mystery as I build a story for my avid followers. Ha.
So this blog has a few aims really.
The first is to keep me motivated. Somewhere where I can talk about what I’m up to and what I have been achieving.
The second is to get my newly Dutch friend off my back.
The third is to hopefully help someone. If by talking about what I intend to do and achieve, even if I don’t achieve these goals, I can still have helped just one person along the way to achieve something similar.
So feel free to stick around. I do NOT intend to be boring. So let’s see if I can stick to my promises. All of them.

No idea! I’m not sure my earliest memories are something I can put in chronological order? They all just seem ‘early’ and I have to self awareness of age.
